Two Approaches To Get Eating In Control
The TurnAround® program includes two eating plans, the Flex Plan and Core Plan® which meet Weight Watchers high standards of member satisfaction and healthy weight loss. The Flex Plan is based on the POINTS® Weight-Loss System which assigns a POINTS value for a serving of every food based on its calorie, fat and fiber content. Flex Plan users can enjoy the full range of food options so they can deal with any meal occasion at home, on the go, or when dining out. The Core Plan controls calories by focusing on a list of wholesome, nutritious foods without tracking or counting. The list includes foods from all the food groups -- fruits and vegetables, grains and starches, lean meats, fish and poultry, eggs and dairy products -- to ensure that all essential nutrient requirements are met. To maximize livability, the Core Plan also allows for occasional treats outside the list in controlled amounts.
